# Developer and Performance tools

> Admin-only power-ups for webhooks, background jobs, cron, order data, test data, autoloaded options and database clean-up, and how their confirmations work

The **Developer** and **Performance** groups hold tools for site admins that inspect how WooCommerce and WordPress work inside. Some of them can make changes you can't undo.

| Group | Power-ups |
| - | - |
| Developer | [Order meta inspector](/admin-powerups/order-meta), [Webhook health](/admin-powerups/webhook-health), [Scheduled action monitor](/admin-powerups/scheduled-actions), [Cron inspector](/admin-powerups/cron-inspector), [Test data](/admin-powerups/test-data) |
| Performance | [Autoloaded options](/admin-powerups/autoloaded-options), [Database clean-up](/admin-powerups/database-cleanup) |

## Admins only

Both groups are visible to site admins only, marked **Admins only** on the Powerups list. Store managers never see them, and their links answer "not allowed". The System card's "Power-ups on X of Y" counts only the power-ups you can see.

They switch on and off like any other power-up. There's no separate switch for the whole group.

<Warning>
  An amber warning shows under each group heading and at the top of every tool page: "These tools can make permanent changes that can't be undone. Take a backup first. SmartWP Plugins isn't responsible for lost data or downtime."
</Warning>

## Risk badges and confirmations

Each action carries a badge that tells you how it's confirmed:

| Badge | How you confirm | Examples |
| - | - | - |
| **Safe** | Runs on click. Changes nothing, or only asks WooCommerce to do what it does anyway. | Send test, Check loopback, Run now for a due cron event |
| **Review recommended** | Click twice. The first click changes the button's text ("Click again to ..."); click again within 5 seconds, or it resets. | Re-enable a webhook, Retry, Stop autoloading |
| **Advanced** | Type the word shown, such as "delete", then click the red button. | Delete events or options, Cancel, Purge, Run a WordPress or WooCommerce cron event now, Retry an action that may charge again |

The word depends on the action: "delete", "cancel", "purge", "run" or "retry", and "generate" for [Test data](/admin-powerups/test-data) on a production site. [Database clean-up](/admin-powerups/database-cleanup) also asks for a second click on Safe cleans, since they delete rows.

The second click on a Review action is there to catch slips. The server treats Review changes like Safe ones, so anyone who can use the tool can make them. For Advanced changes, the server checks both the access level and the typed word.

The typed word works in any letter case, and in your site's language. The same typed confirmation protects the biggest deletes in every power-up's Data section.

### Who can do Advanced actions

Site admins. On multisite, only a network (super) admin: site admins can use Safe and Review actions but not Advanced ones.

## Masked values

These tools show data that plugins stored: order meta, job and cron arguments, option values. Values under sensitive names (tokens, passwords, secrets, keys) are masked. The patterns come from the Order meta inspector's **Sensitive fields to mask** setting.

## Nothing to set up

Most of these tools have no settings. Their Settings tab says "Nothing to set up" and points to the tool tab, for example "Use the Webhooks tab."
