Settings Reference - SmartWP Plugins Documentation

All Unwan settings live in one place: WooCommerce → Settings → Accounts & Privacy → Unwan. They use WooCommerce’s own settings save pipeline — there’s no separate Unwan admin page, no extra database table, and no additional admin-side request.

Every setting on this page is also filterable from code — see the Hooks Reference if you need to set a value programmatically or per-customer.

Address book

Billing checkout selector	`unwan_billing_enable`	On	Lets customers choose any address-book entry for billing at checkout
Shipping checkout selector	`unwan_shipping_enable`	On	Lets customers choose any address-book entry for shipping at checkout
Additional address limit	`unwan_address_save_limit`	`0` (unlimited)	Maximum additional addresses per customer. Billing and shipping defaults don’t count against this — and a displaced default from a role swap always bypasses it, see Default Swaps
Address search threshold	`unwan_address_search_threshold`	`4`	Saved-address count above which the search field appears, in both checkout and My Account. `0` always shows it
Save checkout addresses	`unwan_save_checkout_addresses`	On	Whether a new, validated address entered at checkout is added to the customer’s address book
New address defaults	`unwan_checkout_default_behavior`	Preserve	`preserve` keeps existing profile defaults untouched; `update` makes a newly saved checkout address the matching billing/shipping default. Has no effect when Save checkout addresses is off

Appearance

Text and labels

Every customer-facing string — page titles, button text, empty-state copy, picker headings — is editable from this section, with translations still able to override whatever you set. See Appearance & Theming for the full list of editable keys and their defaults.

Data removal

Setting	Option key	Default	Effect
Uninstall cleanup	`unwan_remove_data_on_uninstall`	Off	When enabled, deleting the plugin permanently removes all Unwan settings and additional customer addresses. WooCommerce’s own billing and shipping profile fields are never removed, regardless of this setting

Uninstall cleanup is destructive and cannot be undone once the plugin is deleted. Leave it off unless you specifically want a clean slate.
