Email preview & resend adds order actions to resend the Processing and Completed emails, and a Preview & test tab that shows any WooCommerce email exactly as it would look for a real order. Shows in: Order actions, Preview & test tab

Turn it on

Go to WooCommerce → Powerups and switch on Email preview & resend. It has no settings.

Resend from the order

On the order page, open the Order actions dropdown and pick:
  • Resend “Processing order” email
  • Resend “Completed order” email
Each adds an order note. For the invoice, WooCommerce already has Send order details to customer.

Preview & test

Open the Preview & test tab (also linked from the Powerups list).
1

Pick an email and an order

3

Send a test (optional)

Enter an address in Send test to and click Send test.

The Preview & test tab showing a Processing order email for a real order

  • A test goes only to the address you enter. Cc and Bcc recipients are always removed.
  • It sends exactly what WooCommerce would, so plain-text emails go as plain text.
  • It shows as Test in the Email log.
  • The order and the customer aren’t changed or emailed.
  • Each person can send 10 tests every 10 minutes. After that you see “You can send 10 test emails every 10 minutes. Try again in a few minutes.”
A test contains that real customer’s order details. Send it only to your own address.
Emails with a private password or verification link (new account, password reset, email address confirmation and back-in-stock sign-up verification) can’t be previewed, test-sent or resent.
