A rule that hides Cash on delivery when Cart total is more than 1000
Conditions
Hide or only offer
- Hide removes the methods when the conditions match.
- Only offer shows the methods only when the conditions match.
Examples
- No Cash on delivery over $1,000. When all of these are true: Cart total is more than 1000. Then hide Cash on delivery.
- Bank transfer only for wholesale. When all of these are true: Customer role is any of Wholesale. Then only offer Direct bank transfer.
Where the rules apply
- The classic checkout and the block checkout.
- The “Pay for order” page (classic or block). There the rules check that order’s total and items instead of the cart. On the classic page, the link must carry the order’s key, as WooCommerce’s own payment links do. In the block checkout, the order is used once WooCommerce has accepted the request to pay it. Anything else checks the cart.
- Admin screens always see every method.
Saving
- A rule without methods, or with a condition missing its value, shows “Not saved until it has at least one method and a value in every condition.” and isn’t saved.
- If the rules can’t be read when saving (a broken browser request), your saved rules are kept instead of being wiped.
